This agreement describes the terms and conditions that govern your use of this website.

Ordering 

Ordering is possible by Internet via our website: www.mauvais-genres.com.

To order a product, the Buyer must identify with his email address and his password. In case of a first-time order, the Buyer will have to create a customer account on our Website (“Subscribe”) to communicate delivery address, to follow-up his orders, to be informed of delivery. The creation of your customer account implies that you give us an email that we may use to inform you of your order status.

When you are ready to order, select your shopping cart, check the content, then proceed to checkout. You will have to choose an eligible shipping address, select a delivery mode, a payment method, and accept our General Terms and Conditions of sale. Your order takes a few moments to process, and then you are returned to a 'thank you' page. This page gives you the details of your order (which you may print out). You will receive an email confirming your order, with a link allowing you to follow it on our Website.

Please note that placing your order means you unconditionally accept the prices and descriptions of the items you have ordered.

In some specific cases, for example invalid address or other problem on a customer account, MAUVAIS GENRES can freeze an order until the problem is solved.

If a product becomes unavailable, we will inform you by mail and reimburse you for the value of the unavailable product (if you have already paid for it). The rest of the order will be delivered as expected.

Products

MAUVAIS GENRES guarantees the authenticity of all vintage Products purchased on the Site.

MAUVAIS GENRES sells mostly vintage collectibles. The condition of each item is described in its description (international grade C1 to C10). Moreover, our Customer Service Team is always ready to help with any query you may have (contact@mauvais-genres.com). Therefore, the Buyer acknowledges having taken cognizance of item’s overall condition, and accepted this condition.

Prices

By default, all prices are displayed in Euros, but you can choose to convert them in British pounds or American dollars. However, all payments are made in Euros.

Our prices are tax included, but do not include shipping charges (packing, handling, shipping) which depends on delivery address, and is given during shopping cart checkout.

Prices are subject to change at any time and without prior notice. Please note that no changes will be applied once your order is validated. 

Availability

Item’s availability (in stock or not) defines delivery delay. Our products are generally immediately available (: in stock), except for few exceptions. Availability is always specified in items description.

We consider that a product is available as long as an order has not been validated (see “Ordering”). Therefore, it is possible that an item of your shopping cart becomes unavailable if another client buys it in the meantime. These products would be clearly identified in your shopping cart, before checkout.

Please note that delivery delays are purely informative. In case your order has not arrived after 14 days and you have checked your account online, please contact us immediately. Our team will do everything possible to solve the case.

Delivery delays

When merchandise is in stock, your order will usually be delivered to your door within 2 to 3 working days in France, 4 to 7 working days in other countries, after approving your order.

Some specific items have longer delivery delays, which are detailed in their description. In case your order contains both available items AND not immediately available items, we will send the order once all items are in our warehouse.

if you are paying by check (for French customers only) or by settlement transfer, your order will be only shipped after payment reception in full.

Delivery and follow-up   

We deliver everything direct to your home by LA POSTE. A different delivery address can be specified while ordering. If you are not home when the courier comes to deliver your parcel, they will leave a calling card with their contact details so delivery can be re-arranged.



MAVAIS GENRES will send you a confirmation email when your goods are ready to be delivered. You can also check your order status by signing into Your Account and selecting History and details of my orders.

“Satisfied or Refunded” Guarantee.

We are 100% proud of our catalogue. However, nothing and nobody can convince you more of the quality of our products than yourself. Therefore, If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return received items within 7 days of the date of shipment. We will give you a refund for the full amount of your order within 30 days. All returned items must be intact and must not have been tampered; they must be packed carefully in their original box, accompanied with a copy of the invoice, and sent to following address :

Please note that the Client is fully liable for the shipment of goods until their receipt at our warehouse is duly certified. MAUVAIS GENRES shall not be liable for damages to or for the theft/loss of any goods that are returned via non-insured shipments.

All shipment expenses for the return of goods are to be borne by the Client, in accordance with law provisions.

Exceptions related to audio and video secondhand products, due to copy abuses: no return will be accepted related to secondhand CDs, DVDs, 35 and 70 mm films, cells,  and any other secondhand audio and video products.

Payment

We propose you several payment methods, as defined below :

- Credit Card : CARTE BLEUE, VISA, EUROCARD or MASTERCARD. All credit card payments are handled by our secure processing facility with LA BANQUE POSTALE (SSL protocol).



- PayPal (with or without creation of Paypal account).



- Credit transfer to our banking account at LA BANQUE POSTALE. Our account identification is given to you at the Payment step of your order. Please remind the order number in your credit transfer description, if possible, so we can start the shipping process faster.

- French bank Cheque, or French Postal Cheque, in euros, to EURL MAUVAIS GENRES,. Please send it to EURL MAUVAIS GENRES, 23 rue du Liron, 30133 Les Angles, France. Please send it with a reminder of the order number, so we can start the shipping process faster.

If your payment shall be refused by your bank, the order would be cancelled, and we would send you an email to inform you.
