MAD MAX 1sh R83 art of wasteland cop Mel Gibson, George Miller Australian classic!

Mad Max is a 1979 Australian dystopian action film directed by George Miller and revised by Miller and Byron Kennedy over the original script by James McCausland. The film stars Mel Gibson, who was unknown at the time. 

Important Added Info: Note that this poster has a GCIU union logo in the center of the bottom border. Since GCIU didn't begin until late 1982, we know this poster to be from the 1983 re-release which makes further sense because there was a major 1983 re-release (after the huge success of the sequel, "The Road Warrior"), but we had never seen posters dated 1983, and it seems certain that they reused the same plates from the 1979 release, and only the union logo changed.

Overall Condition: very good to fine. There are some very light brown stains in the blank borders around the edges of the poster and there are some minor creases and scuffs scattered throughout (mostly along the foldlines). Overall, the poster is in nice condition and it displays well.
